Hard to believe but my debut novel is being published by Cranthorpe Millner in just less than 5 weeks’ time, on 23 January.
For most of my adult life, I’ve been a singer-songwriter, most recently in my band The Good Intentions, but this is new territory for me, and so I guess I’m anticipating the next few weeks with a mix of excitement and nerves. Those nerves were eased a little recently by the legendary Spencer Leigh’s column in the Liverpool Echo. Spencer knows me of old. He’s been a music journalist for a long time, and is a good man to have in your corner.
